Join Our Oxnard, California Team as a Hospital Medicine Physician – A Role Designed for You

We believe in bringing "better" to our local community in Oxnard, CA—better care, better collaboration, and a deep commitment to the people we serve. We'd love to talk if you're looking for a role that supports your professional growth and connection to a vibrant community.

We are hiring a full-time hospitalist and nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit, well-established team of 6 physicians at Dignity St. John’s Hospital Camarillo.
  • Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • Daytime hospitalist - 7 AM - 7 PM.
  • Nocturnist - 7 PM - 7 AM.
  • Rotate through your fair share of days and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will manage an open ICU, but no procedures are required for this role.
  • Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, discharges, and cross coverage depending on the shift.
  • Nocturnists will do admissions and cross coverage.
