Position Overview

Healing Hearts Counseling is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team on a full-time basis. As a member of our practice, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to individuals in need, working in a remote capacity while being a part of our dynamic community health clinic environment.

Work Environment

This position operates in a fully remote setting, leveraging modern technology to connect with clients. Our work environment promotes flexibility, allowing therapists to manage their schedules while meeting the needs of their clients. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for slight adjustments to accommodate varying patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ needs, establishing a comprehensive understanding to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and interpersonal therapy to deliver effective individual and group therapy.
• Lead psychoeducational and therapeutic support groups designed to address common mental health challenges, fostering community and peer support among participants.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to implement a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely assistance.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation of patient interactions, aligning with legal and ethical standards in mental health practices.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay abreast of advancements in the mental health field.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Georgia, ensuring compliance with state regulations for mental health practitioners.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches pertinent to diverse patient populations.
• Proven expertise in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy, demonstrating adaptability in a variety of therapeutic contexts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and team members effectively.
• Sound judgment and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards in treatment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and competency in relevant computer applications for record-keeping and documentation.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating to enhance overall patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a successful track record of managing a diverse client caseload.
• Skills in facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
