Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools, performing regular mental health assessments to inform treatment modifications.
• Create crisis intervention plans, positive behavior support plans, and medication treatment strategies in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Document progress and treatment outcomes meticulously to meet regulatory standards and enhance clinical accountability.
• Act as a liaison with relevant service systems, ensuring effective communication with state agencies, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops, conferences, and participating in ongoing supervision sessions.
• Participate actively in the clinic's licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to quality assurance frameworks.
• Promote and embody the agency's mission, values, and philosophy within the community, fostering relationships with local, state, and federal organizations.
• Contribute to a positive team culture by collaborating with colleagues to implement innovative treatment methodologies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on diverse populations seeking assistance in managing emotional and behavioral challenges. Clients may include individuals undergoing substance use recovery, those experiencing mental health crises, and individuals with developmental and acquired brain challenges. By applying culturally competent practices, you will help clients navigate their unique pathways toward recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and independent LMHC license issued by the state board of Florida.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and preparing comprehensive reports that meet required standards.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills necessary for working in an interdisciplinary team setting.
• Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions based on clinical expertise.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in community mental health settings or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and screening tools appropriate for various client presentations.
• Previous involvement with crisis intervention and management is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation for this role ranges from $86,000 to $103,000, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
