Healing Hearts Counseling is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our dedicated team of professionals. This full-time position, based remotely but operating within a school setting in Scottsdale, Arizona, provides an opportunity to practice in a flexible yet impactful environment. Work Environment

This role offers a remote work setting while functioning in a school environment, allowing for flexibility and innovation in delivering treatment. Our team operates primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify the specific needs of patients and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to address the unique challenges faced by individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that promote mental health awareness and community support.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and continuous care for each patient.
• Provide crisis intervention services to assist patients during mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them throughout their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education activities to stay updated with the dynamics of mental health treatment.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work atmosphere, utilizing feedback to enhance personal and organizational growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client focus for this position involves adolescents and children within school settings experiencing various mental health challenges. Clinicians will be equipped to address the social and emotional needs of this demographic, providing tailored interventions and guidance. This role is central to improving the mental well-being of students by facilitating access to necessary therapeutic resources.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, along with proven experience in effective psychotherapy practices.
• Excellent assessment and treatment planning skills, capable of developing individualized strategies for a diverse population.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, allowing for building rapport and trust with clients and their families.
• Commitment to ethical standards, exhibiting sound judgment and maintaining professional boundaries at all times.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant computer applications.
• A collaborative mindset that values team input and synergistic efforts to improve patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling, with demonstrated efficacy in individual and group therapy.
• Experience working within school environments is highly desirable, reflecting an understanding of the academic context and its unique challenges.
• Previous involvement in crisis intervention and experience in leading psychoeducational programs are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
