To thrive as a Sound Editor, you need a solid understanding of audio production, acoustics, and editing techniques, often supported by a degree in audio engineering or related experience. Mastery of digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools, along with knowledge of sound libraries and synchronization software, is typically required.
