Job Title: Supply Chain Technician

Location: Texarkana, Texas, United States

Type: Full Time


Our client is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory management and supply distribution activities across operational areas. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, fulfilling supply requests, replenishing stock, and ensuring efficient inventory operations through the use of inventory management systems and scanning technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize barcode scanning tools and inventory tracking systems to manage stock movement and inventory records.
  • Perform routine cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and stock verification activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders while maintaining accurate transaction and shipment documentation.
  • Replenish inventory locations, carts, and designated stock areas to maintain required inventory levels.
  • Process and distribute supplies to operational departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor inventory conditions, including expiration dates, stock rotation, and storage compliance requirements.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready inventory locations and storage areas.
  • Ensure assigned inventory areas consistently meet operational and compliance standards.
  • Accurately record inventory transactions within ERP and inventory management platforms.
  • Support inventory receiving, stocking, transfers, and adjustments as required.
  • Provide high-quality customer service while responding to inventory and supply-related requests.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and team members regarding inventory needs and operational requirements.
  • Assist with additional inventory, warehouse, and supply chain activities as assigned by leadership.


Required Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience

  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related environment preferred.
  • Experience working with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, or scanning technology is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate inventory applications.
  • Understanding of inventory management principles, product identification, and unit measurements.
