Job description

USA Staffing is currently recruiting forMail Systems Operator located in Salt Lake City. These are temp to hire opportunities paying $17.50 hourly.
Mail Systems Operator:
  • Ensures proper functionality of conveyor to the mail sorting system.
  • Place orders in EMM trays and prepare for shipping.
  • Place expedited orders into expedited envelopes for delivery.
  • Review primary sort for ongoing activity changes.
  • Complete mailroom audits for accuracy.
  • Match multiple quantity orders and prepare for shipping.
  • Ensure packages are labeled properly for delivery vendors and move Gaylords using hand jack for pallets upon arrival of shipping carrier into trailer for outgoing delivery.
  • Moves pallets upon arrival of FedEx or other shipping carrier into trailer using hand jack for pallets for outgoing delivery.
  • Generate and submit mail reports and paperwork.
    Work with management to identify and resolve delays in delivery issues and other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
  • Mail Systems Operator Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pushing/pulling floor pallet jack. Required to work and stand for duration of a 12-hour shift.
Shift:
6a-6p with 2, 15-minute breaks and 1, 30-minute lunch all paid
Rotating shift working every other weekend
