Job description

General Description:

Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd, the industry leader in compassionate engagement services with offices located throughout the globe, is seeking a Document Analyst to join their team. The Consumer Support Agent is a highly knowledgeable, professional individual who has great attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability assist consumers with matters pertaining to special circumstances. Within this roll, customer service and critical thinking skills are paramount.   Previous experience within a third-party collection agency, particularly in a capacity that has required in-depth exposure and understanding of client standards and expectations is required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Sorting and imaging of all digital and physical correspondence by department, location and category (e.g. RCU, CSU, billing & payments)
  • Maintaining record of all sent and received correspondence
  • Analyzing and distributing all mail, email and fax correspondence to the appropriate department(s)
  • Preparation and processing of envelopes and packages
  • Review and resolution of exception items related to correspondence
  • Archiving physical correspondence based on client(s) retention requirements
  • Keep inventory of mailroom supplies

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the following areas:
  • Computer literacy to and familiarity with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong attention to detail
