Job Overview
The Consolidation Warehouse Associate takes part in our Waste-In and Waste-Out operation by handling card board boxes filled with different recycling materials and consolidating like-materials into gaylord containers. This team member will work closely with the Waste Supervisor and Production Manager to prioritize daily tasks while working in a safe and productive work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Opening cardboard boxes, emptying the materials into gaylord containers
  • Picking full pallets off the line and moving them to designated storage areas
  • Queuing outbound loads for outbound shipment.
  • Implementing company procedures for the sortation, compliance, and consolidation of recycling waste
  • Enforcing the importance of a clean working environment

Requirements
Desired Qualifications
  • Current forklift certification or forklift experience
  • General computer knowledge (email, spreadsheets, etc.)
  • Ability to walk/stand on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long periods of time
  • Attention to detail to ensure compliance
  • Open to change focus and reprioritize as needed
