Required: Extensive experience in Janitorial Operations Management (5-7 years).
Job Description:
Janitorial Operations Manager (On-Site) shall ensure that the Janitorial Department at MCO Orlando International Airport (Airside 4), operates in an efficient manner including but not limited to managing operations-related responsibilities such as working hands-on with the employees in cleaning the facilities assigned such as mopping the floors, vacuuming, dusting, taking out the trash, etc.; must have strong leadership skills and knows how to designate work assignments to each employee fairly; knowledgeable on work-scheduling, timekeeping, payroll; can handle employee issues in a professional and timely manner, following the correct disciplinary procedure; must be a problem solver with analytical thinking, coachable, and must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • The primary responsibility of the on-site manager is to ensure the safety of the public, employees, facilities, and equipment while managing the operation.
  • The Operations Manager must see to it that the team has complete attendance and must report immediately any tardiness or absences to HR.
  • Daily timekeeping verifications and approval at the end of the pay period.
  • Paid-Time-Off schedule and approval.
  • Preparing employee's work schedules.
  • Daily submission of reports before the end of the day must be completed and submitted.
  • Provide excellent customer service experience to both the public and especially the client.
  • Communicating effectively (fluent in English and Spanish is an advantage) with the employees and the upper management.
  • Conduct inventory of supplies.
  • Able to do ad hoc tasks.
