Job description

Contract Warehouse Associate
The Contract Warehouse Associate manually moves stock and other materials as well as performs general labor as needed related to the operations of the Warehouse.
Education/ Experience: High school diploma (or equivalency) plus at least 2 years of practical experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Move stock or other materials to and from storage, production areas, loading docks and delivery vehicles by hand trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
  • Support all shipping / receiving needs.
  • Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
  • Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
  • Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
  • Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
  • Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.
  • Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.

โ€ข Schedule pickup / shipment with various carriers.
โ€ข Load shipments, belongings, or materials.
โ€ข Mark materials or objects for identification.
