Job description

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $14.75hr - $19.75hr
Requirement/Must Have:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • One (1) to three (3) years pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills to perform required calculations including multiplication and division.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must maintain acceptable visual acuity.
  • Must be able to maintain visual inspection qualification requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Visually inspect filled product off the filling line following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP).
  • Work in the Capping Department and on the off-line inspection area while maintaining knowledge of procedures and equipment in each area.
  • Visually inspect products for various defects.
  • Document work accurately and timely.
  • Comply with current SOP's and cGMP's.
  • Set-up, adjust, and operate equipment such as inspection machines and cappers.
  • Perform and document critical start-up procedures for filling operation such as filter integrity test, line clearance, and component verification.
  • Perform and document quality checks on product.
  • Calculate percent defective on inspection results and reconcile components on batch record.
  • Load and unload vials from turntables.
  • Stack, wrap and move pallets of product.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
