Job Description Are you looking for your next opportunity? Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Senior Underwriter, Cyber/E&O as part of our Sompo Pro team. Our Sompo Pro Underwriting team offers Cyber, Tech E&O, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Insurance Agents E&O, and Architects and Engineers E&O for primary and excess risks. We work through a network of brokers who share our commitment to long-term partnerships built on a strong service proposition.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Underwriting of Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Technology Errors and Omissions, Cyber Liability, Media Liability, Architects and Engineers Professional Liability, and Insurance Agents and Brokers
  • Ability to evaluate all individual risk characteristics and properly determine capacity, attachment point, terms and pricing
  • Maintain and enhance existing broker relationships as well as identify and develop new relationships within the Central region with both retail and wholesale partners
  • Develop and execute marketing plans aimed at retaining existing business and producing new opportunities that fit with in the Sompo Pro division risk appetite
  • Ability to effectively interact, communicate and negotiate with all levels of external and/or internal business partners
What you’ll bring:
  • Established relationships with Retail and Wholesale Network in Central Marketplace
  • Minimum of 5 years of Professional lines Underwriting Experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel approximate 10% of the time

Salary Range: $125,000 – $150,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
