Job description

No assembly line here! As a General Laborer, your days will fly by as you stay busy in one or more areas of our foundry working independently or in a team.
Work Schedule
  • 1st Shift 6 am-2 pm
  • 2nd Shift 2 pm-10 pm (additional shift differential)
What you will do:
  • Operate a stand grinding wheel and various hand tools to deburr iron castings weighing 3 pounds up to 300 pounds.
  • Use physical strength to push and place molds on the pouring deck; use hoists to lift and lower weights onto molds.
  • Use physical strength to remove hot castings from conveyor to bin or palletize.
  • Use power tools.
  • Set up and operate machinery.
  • Use a computer to record work activity.
  • Keep areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies necessary to complete work.
