About the Role:

The Project Manager II position ensures smooth communication and project execution between clients and the company. This position manages complex orders, provides updates, addresses client inquiries, and resolves issues. By supporting account managers and maintaining regular communication with team leaders, the Project Manager II helps deliver consistent results and uphold the company's core values.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience managing projects with cross-border or global teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Managers across all facilities enabling them to close more business.

    Become proficient with Olympus Group processes, ERP system, and quoting tools to the point that you can be a resource for others in the company.

  • Become proficient with various Modular Frame Systems and reading frame drawings.

  • Review open orders daily for accuracy.

  • Follow up on open issues as per customer, sales lead, or production and give direction.

  • Interact with clients to understand scope of projects and provide solutions.

  • Project manage complex projects that may be coordinated across multiple facilities.

  • Review proofs for accuracy prior to submitting for approval.

  • Provide order entry support during off hours when need arises.

  • Create and send daily job status reports to Clients and Account Mangers.

  • Coordinate and manage client viewings in production as needed.

  • Liaison between Operations and remote PM’s who have orders being produced in house (Ex: Entertainment team and MI team. Outsource vendor follow up, status updates, material updates, photos for approval)

  • Potential backup for mascot sales team during long absences.

  • Administrative support related to technology supporting all PM and sales.
