A day in the life.

MMA Rx Solutions is the national pharmacy center of excellence for Marsh McLennan Agency. In Collaboration with its leadership The Associate Strategic Client Executive Rx Solutions will support the sales process and serve as the main point person for the MMA field offices on post-sale implementation and ongoing client support as it relates to pharmacy management. The position will also work with PBMs and our strategic partners to ensure their deliverables related to both the vision of this approach and that the needs of the MMA field offices are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides strategic and consultative support to sales and account management personnel throughout the sale, implementation and renewal of MMA Rx Solutions

Reviews all draft PBM contracts to ensure pricing and terms match MMA Rx Solutions provisions

Builds and maintains strong working relationships with MMA field, strategic partners and PBMs

Comprehends, interprets and can explain pharmacy analysis

Educates the MMA field on new features of MMA Rx Solutions and innovations as needed

Works to continually improve the MMA Rx Solutions process and client/field experience

Provides strategic client account management support to the MMA field

Supports the renewal process with strategic partners for the MMA field

Works with strategic partners to ensure reporting, presentations and reviews are completed timely and accurately

Works closely with MMA field to understand client needs as it relates to evolving the MMA Rx Solutions approach

Provides consultative solutions to clients around pharmacy challenges within approach

Identifies content for client communications and works with marketing to develop and implement

Builds and maintains strong working relationships with MMA Rx Solutions SAE and other team members, the MMA field and strategic partners while holding them accountable to deliverables and deadlines.

Assists with the reviews of draft pharmacy contracts to ensure pricing and terms match MMA provisions and best practice guidelines.

Provides assistance to other employees and performs various administrative and other duties as needed. Serves as a resource and mentor for other Client Managers. Performs all activities relating to the public, customers and companies to avoid issues involving potential errors and omissions.

Communicates and interacts with a diverse population of internal and external customers. Ability to pro-actively form productive working relationships with other team members, decision makers and PBM personnel. Adaptable and able to change priorities and multi-task regularly to meet deadlines. Must have strong and effective oral and written communication skills. Capable of maintaining the strictest confidentiality regarding client and company data and information. The majority of work occurs during normal business hours with extended hours and schedule flexibility necessary to complete projects and to meet department needs. Travel is 25-30%.

  • Minimum of 10 years PBM, pharmacy or related account management experience, including direct experience with PBM contracts.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Current Life & Health licensure or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Must have own transportation and ability to attend in-house and external meetings/events as required.
  • Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
