Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Teradata.

Define data models, integration strategies, and performance optimization techniques.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture blueprints.

Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices

Deep expertise in Teradata architecture, utilities (TPT, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad), and SQL

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field

10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in Teradata environments.

Strong hands-on experience with Teradata SQL, Teradata utilities.

Proficient with scripting language Python, PowerShell for automation.

Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.

Experience working with Azure cloud-based environment is a plus

Experience with Data governance, data security, data quality, data lineage, data catalog and compliance practices

Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Teradata certifications (e.g., Teradata Certified Professional, Teradata certified Master).

Exposure of data lake architectures and integration with Teradata.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development environments
