This role is designed to be fully remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients in a comfortable and convenient way. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Lead individualized therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based modalities to encourage personal growth and healing.
• Set measurable therapeutic goals and track client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Provide teletherapy alternatives to enhance access and ensure convenience for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, team meetings, and supervision to enhance your clinical skills.

Our clients are individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. We serve a diverse population with varying backgrounds and experiences, emphasizing culturally competent care that respects individual differences. As a mental health counselor at Tree of Life, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on clients’ lives by guiding them through their recovery journey and helping them cultivate resilience.

• A current, state-issued license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a related field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and maintain a non-judgmental approach in all client interactions.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills to manage a diverse caseload.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a telehealth setting or those who have specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms is a plus.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
