Overview:
The In Home Sales Project Manager oversees the Sales process from start to end. This position's main duties are staying available to respond to emergency water damages, selling any job from leads (can include mold, structure cleans, etc.), maintaining relationships with clients/vendors/adjuster/customers from start to end of the job, and generating sales reports and using them for maximum results.
The In Home Sales Project Manager spends time doing a free inspection of the home, winning trust, selling the job and then onboarding the customer effectively. The In Home Sales Project Manager then writes the scope of work through a scope sheet/Xactimate by doing a thorough moisture mapping/inspection of the home then works with dispatching to send a technician on site to complete the work. Afterwards, the In Home Sales Project Manager is the point person for communication, problem solving, coordinating when needed.
The person filling this position must be a competitive, passionate, determined and a goal-oriented individual who will maximize all opportunities proactively to create new and develop current opportunities. This position will receive guidance and help from the Marketing and Sales team. This position is expected to uphold the mission statement and core values established by Dreyer's DKI.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must display the company Core Values and Mission
  • Serves customers by selling the company's services and delivering a high quality experience
  • Respond to emergency callsโ€ข Perform risk assessments to locate the source of lossโ€ข Develop mitigation strategy and effectively communicate to homeownersโ€ข Attempt to sell other trades of work offered by Dreyer's
  • Communicate with every customer on every job sold to problem solve and create raving fan
  • Communicate with Lead Technicians and Production Manager to problem solve on job scope of work
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing
    reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Use Scope sheet/Xactimate to price out and bid job
  • Understand and learn homeowners policies enough to be semi-fluent to help guide customers (only as a point of reference)
  • Document all information for jobs in project management software
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to
    better understand their business objectives and needs
  • Use our software's and systems to execute job functions as needed
  • Help the Marketing Department to create, develop, and execute Sales targets
  • Placed on the on call rotation. Once a week every 4 weeks as needed
  • Contribute to the entire team's effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing
    professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional
    societies
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes
  • Encourage open communication between agent and customer at time of loss and to the end of
    the project
  • Plans and prioritizes sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed
    upon sales and business goals.
  • Integrates sales efforts with other organized marketing activities (promotions, advertising,
    exhibitions, telemarketing, social media marketing etc.
  • Develops and maintains existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and
    ethical sales methods.
  • Serves as internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer
    satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates a positive image of the Company to staff and clients; this shall include oral and
    written communication and visual presentation.
  • Ensure a closing rate of at least 80% on all water jobs while working on selling mold, structure, and fire
    losses.
  • Onboard customers effectively

Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, and government
    requirements
  • Attend departmental and company meetings as required
  • Inform immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer
    database
  • Other Duties as needed

Qualifications
  • 2 plus years of sales experience
  • Restoration Experience - 1 year minimum required
    • Exceptions made if enough sales track record and similar industry experience
  • Ability to win friends & influence others
