Job description

Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week 

Role Overview:

As a Senior Associate, Solution Analyst; you will partner with business units and technology teams to define, develop, and deliver strategic and tactical initiatives that support NYL/Tampa Operations. You will bridge business needs with technical solutions, ensuring alignment, clarity, and impact from concept through implementation. You will document requirements specific to integrations between critical and non-critical systems, and partner with architects, developers, testers and business stakeholders to document proposed solutions that solve business or technology challenges.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with business and technical teams to define needs, align technology solutions, and ensure clear requirements
  • Analyze business challenges through research, interviews, and workflow design, providing actionable recommendations
  • Lead initiatives from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic and tactical goals
  • Collaborate with architects to evaluate solution options, balancing cost, complexity, and business impact
  • Communicate findings and recommendations through documentation and presentations, while mentoring and cross-training team members

What You'll Bring:

You bring strong analytical skills, the ability to balance business needs with technology solutions, and a collaborative, professional approach that builds trust and credibility across teams. You thrive in problem-solving environments and communicate complex ideas clearly.

Required Skills:

  • At least 7 years of applicable business analyst experience\
  • Experience across multiple technologies (databases, APIs, SaaS, etc.) and ability to apply architectural principles
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and design high-level business and operating models
  • Strong interviewing, research, and documentation skills
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery models
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to read XML and JSON data models

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of life insurance, annuities, marketing, and/or telemarketing systems
  • Strong experience with API Design, and Integration and API platforms
  • Ability to model data flows and system interactions

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $90,000-$128,500 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
