JOB TITLE: Club Solitude Manager DIVISION: Club Solitude / Lodging

REPORTS TO: Director of Lodging LOCATION: Club Solitude - Eagle Springs East

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/Year Round/Salary

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Club Solitude Manager presents a welcoming and knowledgeable resource of information for owners and guests as they settle into a home away from home. This position creates an environment for Solitude's guests that promotes safety and comfort whilst they enjoy both the indoor and outdoor activities that are provided for them and also publicizes activities and promotions that put Solitude on the map as one of the state's most family friendly ski resort getaways.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical strength (Pulling and replacing pool covers by yourself)

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enforce and maintain the control & safety of Club Solitude based on SVMA rules, policies and procedures
  • Properly staff and schedule club attendants
  • Provide uniforms and name tags to attendants
  • Recruit, train and supervise club attendants for club duties including Ving key issuance
  • Act as an intermediary between guests, owners, and rental management companies
  • Implement and utilize a "Guest of Owner" service for those condos which are rented out directly through the owner given these guests do not have access to a front desk administrator
  • Maintain and operate the electronic VING key system for the resort, including locks, keys, and the database
  • Perform lock audits for owners, Solitude Resort Lodging, and building managers as needed
  • Assure facility readiness, adherence to safety codes/law, conduct daily inspections
  • Identify any maintenance needs and replacements in Club Solitude based on the SVMA Reserve Study and necessity
  • Plan with and direct outside vendors/contractors to ensure that the services they provide are in compliance with SVMA requirements, directives and safety requirements
  • Maintenance of outside areas including the pool area, pool slide, furniture, grass, trees, shrubbery, and BBQ pit
  • Oversee regular cleaning of pool, hot tubs, and surrounding area, working with building maintenance to ensure safety and cleanliness
  • Maintenance and replacement of Club Solitude equipment including the pool cues, foosball table, Xbox console and controllers, various movies, video games, board games, exercise equipment, and furniture
  • Promote any scheduled events that are currently available at Solitude
  • Develop and have readily available resources for guests including dining, entertainment, recreational, and shopping opportunities at Solitude and in the Valley
  • Assist guests with information about transportation options
  • Have excellent guest services while getting to know as many condo owners and frequent guests as possible
  • Create, organize, promote and supervise SVMA family-friendly activities and events at Club Solitude as well as in the surrounding Village area on various high-traffic holidays (esp. Winterfest, MLK Jr. Weekend, President's Day Weekend, Mini Downhill races, Chocolate Lover's Weekend, Easter Weekend, and Homeowners Weekend)
  • Coordinate activities and events with other departments
  • Handle questions and present resort information to guests when requested
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate "Club Solitude" environment and atmosphere
