Job description

Job Title:          Design Technician

Client:              Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Location:         Lafayette, CO 80026
Duration:         1 Year (Possible extension)
Shift:                1st Shift

Job Summary

Experienced Design Technician focused on 3D CAD design, prototyping, testing, and design validation. Works across engineering, manufacturing, and product development teams to improve product performance and manufacturability in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities (Mobile-Friendly)

• Create and modify 3D CAD models (Creo / SolidWorks)
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specs
• Build, assemble, and modify prototypes
• Execute mechanical and functional testing
• Document test methods, results, and observations
• Support design verification & validation (DV/TV)
• Troubleshoot design and product issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Apply DFM/DFA principles in design
• Support minor projects and generate technical reports

• Cross-functional troubleshooting – 2+ years
