Job Description Solids Control Technician - Oilfield Operations Location: Odessa, Texas Schedule: 28 Days On / 14 Days Off Rotation Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour Consistent rotational schedule Opportunity for overtime Career advancement opportunities within field operations Hands-on training and development Position Summary We are seeking hardworking, mechanically inclined individuals to join our oilfield operations team as Solids Control Technicians. This role supports drilling operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting solids control equipment used to process drilling fluids and remove drilled solids. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and capable of performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment

Previous oilfield experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, construction, farming, heavy equipment, or military backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Operate and monitor solids control equipment including shale shakers, centrifuges, dryers, pumps, and associated systems Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment Assist with rig-up and rig-down of equipment at drilling locations Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs Monitor drilling fluid processing systems and report operational issues Maintain accurate field reports and daily logs Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures Work closely with drilling crews and field supervisors Maintain clean and organized work areas Qualifications Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting skills Ability to work 12+ hour shifts during rotational schedules Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements Oilfield experience is a plus but not required.
