Job Summary:
OpenTug is a marine logistics platform dedicated to enhancing freight efficiency on inland and coastal waterways. They are seeking a frontend engineer to collaborate with fellow engineers and the executive team to design and implement intuitive features for the opentug.com web application.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with fellow engineers and the executive team to design and implement intuitive features for the opentug.com web application
• Use design/prototyping tools such as Figma to design, communicate, and refine interfaces in response to customer needs
• Build and own features using SolidJS and TypeScript, working with backend engineers to integrate with our API
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years SolidJS or similar reactive (e.g. ReactJS) development experience, preferably with TypeScript
• 3+ years with Figma or similar interface design tools
• Strong communication skills and an eye for design
• Experience managing performance, caching, and state in complex frontend systems
