Insurance Application Associate

As an Insurance Application Associate, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

• Serve as a quality checkpoint by reviewing all new business applications to ensure accurate and complete data entry.

• Review final expense and simplified issue applications and render decisions on insurability - approvals, declinations, and plan changes - within stated guidelines.

• Exercise an authorized approval limit of $300,000.

• Conduct research to determine applicant coverage, including MVR searches, criminal record checks, and vendor website reviews.

• Monitor and identify concerns with agent business practices.

• Determine necessary underwriting requirements and prepare correspondence for agents.

• Enter accurate, complete, and detailed notes in the operating system so that any reviewer understands what actions were taken, why, and what is still required.

• Conduct company business in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and compliance obligations.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is known for their strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Stands out for their solid understanding of life insurance products, plans, and applications.

• Demonstrates strong knowledge of MIB codes and medications relevant to underwriting.

• Is recognized for their excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Has experience in life insurance or related fields, or a strong consumerlevel understanding of life insurance concepts.

• Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role involves communicating with agents, underwriters, and internal partners on a daily basis.
