As the Assistant Director of Engineering, you will support and assist the Director of Engineering by overseeing and directing the resort's engineering and maintenance operations. Education and Experience
High school diploma required
Bachelor's or associate degree in a maintenance-related field preferred
Four or more years of leadership experience in a resort or commercial environment
Language Skills
Must communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and resort leadership
Written and verbal communication in English is required
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must hold a valid driver's license in the state of employment
Preferred licenses or certifications in core trades such as refrigeration, plumbing, or electrical
OSHA safety certification is preferred
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch
Must regularly lift and/or move, push, and/or pull up to 50+ pounds
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions
Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or extreme heat
