We have 2 openings for Assistant Solder Techs in Wichita, Ks.
This position pays $15.50 and the hours are M-F from 6am to 2:30pm. This is a long-term opportunity and starts asap!
Overview:
The Assistant Solder Tech is responsible for using soldering equipment to repair, modify, and change parts on electronic circuit boards and STB units.
Daily duties include:
Troubleshoots electronics equipment.
Solder equipment using both surface mount and thru-hole methods.
Use repair equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, volt meters & soldering irons.
Maintain satisfactory quality performance levels.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to operate test equipment
Ability to read schematics
Good manual dexterity
Possess solder and de-soldering skills
Excellent analytical skills
Must be able to perform both surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques as well as operate automated repair equipment (BGA machine)
Computer skills are a must for accurate data entry of completed units
IPC certs are preferred but not required
