What is a solar job?

Solar jobs are roles involved in the design, installation, maintenance, and management of solar energy systems, including solar panels and related infrastructure. These jobs can range from solar panel installers and electricians to engineers, project managers, sales representatives, and researchers. Solar jobs play a crucial role in the transition to renewable energy by helping homes, businesses, and communities adopt clean, sustainable power sources.

Is working in solar a good career?

Working in solar is a growing field with increasing demand for installers, technicians, and engineers. It offers opportunities for hands-on work, technical skills, and certifications such as NABCEP, with a typical schedule involving outdoor work and physical activity. These skills ensure safe, efficient installation and maintenance of solar systems, contributing to reliable renewable energy solutions.
