Retail Associate

Part-Time to Full-Time | Benefits Eligible

Position Overview

The Retail Associate is responsible for engaging homeowners at retail locations, educating them about the benefits of residential solar energy, and scheduling qualified homeowners for in-home consultations with our Solar Consultants.

This is a customer-facing position designed for outgoing, energetic individuals who enjoy speaking with people and creating opportunities through meaningful conversations. Success is measured by generating high-quality appointments that result in completed in-home demonstrations and ultimately help homeowners save money through solar.

Responsibilities
  • Engage shoppers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Educate homeowners on the benefits of going solar.
  • Qualify homeowners based on company guidelines.
  • Schedule qualified homeowners for free in-home solar consultations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional representation of the company.
  • Accurately record appointments and customer information.
  • Consistently achieve appointment and performance goals.
Schedule
  • Approximately 30 hours per week
  • Five (5) six-hour shifts each week
  • Typical schedule:
    • 9 am-3 pm OR
    • 3 pm-9 pm
  • Required to work Friday-Sunday.
CompensationHourly plus commission!

Retail Associates earn commissions based on completed sales generated from appointments they originate.
