Hexcel is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager for our Burlington, WA location. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the production planning, plant scheduling and both direct and indirect material planning and replenishment. The Supply Chain Manager leads and works with the planning group to provide executable production plans and schedules to meet forecast and booked demand while optimizing quality, cost, and equipment capacity. This position will work directly with the Product Manager, Operations Manager, and Plant Manager. The Supply Chain Manager will also work with the Supply Chain Network Manager to balance material supply and demand throughout the supply chain. This position will need to directly coordinate interplant supply/demand and production planning with each affected Hexcel plant on a global basis.

Summary pay range: $106,114 - $181,910 annual salary.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Optimizes the short and long term production planning, detail scheduling and material replenishment process for maximum utilization of the plant facilities and resources.
  • Under the general guidance of the Supply Chain Network Manager, develops targets, systems and procedures for achieving agreed inventory levels for raw materials, intermediates and finished goods.
  • S&OP (SIOP) responsibilities include developing and communicating resource capacity, demand, inventory, and production plans; creating and aligning the Master Production Plan and operational build plans; incorporating production commitments and performance; communicating MPS, lead times, and inventory strategies; collaborating with the business to optimize system settings to meet targets; and balancing supply and demand across the supply chain in coordination with other affected Hexcel plants' production planning and scheduling groups through the SIOP process, with any unresolved constraints escalated to senior management for resolution or direction.
  • Works in conjunction with the manufacturing operation to maximize customer service levels and on time delivery of customer orders. Works in conjunction with the Plant Manager, Operations Manager and Supply Chain Network Manager towards achieving objectives.
  • Directs and demonstrates safe practices and policies and environmental protection.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering required
  • CPIM or CSCP certification preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience (manufacturing operations experience required, aerospace industry experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with increasing responsibility in Planning, Scheduling or Supply Chain management (2+ years of team management experience required)
