Position Summaryย 

Blue Sky Utility/Nofar USA isย seekingย a highly capable and proactiveย Supply Chain Managerย to lead procurement,ย logistics, vendor management, and material planning across our growing portfolio of solar and energy storage projects. This role is critical to ensuring that equipment, materials, and services are sourced strategically, delivered on time, and managed cost-effectively to support project execution nationwide.ย 

The ideal candidate is hands-on, commercially sharp, operationally disciplined, and experienced in managing complex supply chainsย within the power generation industry, including solar and BESS.ย ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

Procurement & Strategic Sourcingย 

  • Lead sourcing and procurement of major equipment including solar modules, inverters, transformers, BESS equipment, trackers, racking, and balance-of-plant materialsย ย 
  • Leadย selectionย and contract negotiation with EPC contractorsย responsible forย delivering turn-key projects.ย ย 
  • Negotiateย pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial terms with vendors and suppliersย ย 
  • Build andย maintainย preferred vendor relationships to support long-term growthย ย 
  • Identifyย alternate suppliers and contingency strategies to reduce riskย ย 
  • Monitor and implement market conditions, tariffs, pricing trends, and supply constraintsย impactingย solar and storage sectors, ensuring we meet regulatory requirementsย 
  • ย 

Logisticsย & Inventory Managementย 

  • Oversee transportation, warehousing, and delivery schedules for domestic and international shipmentsย ย 
  • Coordinate material flow to multiple project sites across various statesย ย 
  • Track inventory levels, shortages, overages, and critical path itemsย ย 
  • Implement systems for receiving, storage, and field material controlsย ย 

Project Support & Cross Functional Partnershipย 

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Project Delivery, Construction, Finance, and Development teams to align procurement with project schedulesย ย 
  • Support project budgets through cost forecasting andย purchasingย disciplineย ย 
  • Participate in project kickoff and execution meetings toย identifyย material needs and schedule risksย ย 
  • Ensure purchase orders and vendor commitments align with project milestonesย ย 

Vendor Performance &ย Complianceย 

  • Manage supplier scorecards, KPIs, and service levelsย ย 
  • Resolve delivery delays, quality concerns, claims, shortages, and commercial disputesย ย 
  • Develop mitigation plans for supply disruptions and long lead equipmentย ย 

Process Improvement & Systemsย 

  • Establish scalable procurement and supply chain processes as the company growsย ย 
  • Improve reporting, spend visibility, forecasting, and internal controlsย ย 
  • Utilize ERP, procurement, and project management systems to drive efficiencyย ย 

Requirements

  • Direct experience in solar panel procurement
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business,ย Finance,ย Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldย ย 
  • 7+ years of supply chain, procurement, or sourcing leadership experienceย ย 
  • Experience supportingย power generation companiesย 
  • Strong contract negotiation, analytical,ย and vendor management skillsย ย 
  • Willingness to work hybrid in Fort Lauderdale, Floridaย ย 
  • Familiarity withย mainย energy system components such asย transformers, switchgear, inverters, modules, trackers, and major electrical equipmentย ย 
  • Experience with importย logistics, tariffs, and international sourcingย ย
