LRE is currently seeking a Solar Technician at our Hartford City, Indiana facility.

Job Requirements:

Routine Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on solar panels, inverters, racking, and tracking systems under supervision. Ensure all work is conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Work Order Management: Accurately record all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including work order creation, updates, and closure.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices to minimize risks.

Reporting: Assist in preparing reports on maintenance activities, including documenting issues encountered, solutions implemented, and recommendations for future work.

Learning & Development: Engage in on-the-job training to develop technical skills and knowledge in solar plant operations. Participate in company-provided training programs to advance to higher levels within the solar technician career path.

Equipment Handling: Assist in handling and organizing tools, equipment, and materials required for maintenance tasks. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with higher-level technicians and the Site Lead to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Follow instructions and seek guidance when needed to ensure safe and accurate execution of work.

Physical Work: Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying items up to 50 lbs. Work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic understanding of electrical systems and mechanical aptitude.

Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and company procedures.

Ability to accurately document work activities and follow instructions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members.

Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items up to 50 lbs.

Comfort working in confined spaces and exposed to inclement weather conditions.

The Site Technician will be located onsite at various wind/solar/BESS facilities in the US.

Position requires extended periods of standing and walking.
