The E&C Project Manager Senior/Staff role demands technical mastery, strategic vision, and the ability to deliver results that directly impact business performance. You'll lead the safe and efficient execution of mega-scale power infrastructure projects including gas turbines, gas reciprocating engines, combined heat and power (CHP), Solar, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a relentless focus on safety, efficiency, and profitability.

In your day-to-day work, you'll drive strategic decisions for large-scale projects, balancing technical complexity with business objectives. You'll lead coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction partners, resolving high-stakes challenges and mitigating risks before they escalate. You'll prepare executive-level updates that influence organizational priorities and ensure projects meet reliability, safety, and profitability targets. Your expertise shapes solutions that power the future of clean energy.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Leads a team to implement project plans or programs with significant complexity to achieve objectives, coordinating with our internal and external business partners
  • Manages power infrastructure projects from concept through completion, with accountability for scope, schedule, and budget
  • Applies engineering and construction standards to design and integrate power generation systems, high-voltage technologies, and control systems
  • Aligns project objectives with corporate strategy, evaluates economic impacts, and delivers solutions that maximize reliability and profitability
  • Builds trust for seamless coordination across internal teams and external partners, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction
  • Anticipates risks with forward thinking alternatives, and makes decisive calls to quickly resolve technical, contractual, and regulatory challenges
  • Sets up the core project team to facilitate achievement of the project objective
  • Coordinates key functions with technical resources under the guidance of Project Life Cycle
  • Develops and implements project reports, presentations, schedules and costing forecasts
  • Presents and implements recommendations supported by sound engineering and operational efficiency that supports reliability targets and reduces risks inherent in the project
  • Prepares, reviews and approves requests for proposals, evaluations and contractor selection
  • Understands the economic impact of the project being developed to drive solutions
  • Anticipates issues, gathers information, assesses opportunity, analyzes alternative solutions and makes important decisions
  • Develops optimum project solutions that improve economic profit over the life of the project
  • Leads project teams and contractors; accountable for producing results and meeting deadlines

Education/Years of Experience:

E&C Project Manager Staff:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 15 years' experience in oil and gas engineering/project management
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management and Master's degree in business, project management or engineering management; PMP, PE, and Microsoft Specialist Project Certification (MS)

E&C Project Manager Senior:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum ten 10 years' experience in oil and gas engineering/project management
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management and Master's degree in business, project management or engineering management; PMP or PE

Shift/Work hours/Travel Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Solid understanding of PLC/Stage-Gate processes and extensive experience with power plant construction or operations
  • Experience in design, construction, and commissioning power generation systems (grid-connected or islanded plants), substations, and high-voltage electrical distribution systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project controls tools
  • Preferred: Electrical Engineering degree
  • Preferred: Microsoft Project Certification
  • Preferred: Experience with EPC in Power Generation/Data Centers
