Summary

A well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up and multifamily renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout. The company specializes in multifamily construction, delivering both new developments and large-scale renovation projects while maintaining a strong reputation for quality, teamwork, and long-term client relationships.

The ideal candidate has a strong general contracting background, enjoys collaborating with field teams, and can successfully manage multiple projects while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage ground-up and multifamily renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
  • Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and scope coordination
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure field productivity and schedule milestones
  • Track job costs, billing, forecasting, and overall financial performance
  • Conduct owner, architect, consultant, and subcontractor meetings
  • Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure project success
  • Support project closeout including punch lists, warranties, and turnover documentation
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, field teams, and company leadership

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor
  • Ground-up multifamily or multifamily renovation experience required
  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and cost control
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel to assigned project sites and work from the office on a regular basis
