Job description

Project Developer โ€“ Utility Scale Renewables

Location: Massachusetts or Upstate New York (Remote/Hybrid Available)

Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Benefits


INFINITEK is partnering with a growing renewable energy developer to recruit a Project Developer to support the development of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the Northeastern United States. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established international renewable energy organization with an active project pipeline and significant growth plans.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects from early-stage development through construction mobilization
  • Manage project siting, landowner engagement, permitting, interconnection, and stakeholder relationships
  • Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, construction, and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Evaluate new development opportunities and support strategic project acquisition efforts
  • Manage interconnection requests and work with utilities, ISOs, and RTOs
  • Support community outreach activities and maintain relationships with local stakeholders
  • Oversee third-party consultants and review technical reports
  • Assist with project budgeting, scheduling, and risk management activities
  • Support projects through to commercial operation


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of renewable energy project development experience
  • Proven experience developing utility-scale wind, solar, or energy storage projects
  • Strong understanding of permitting, interconnection, land acquisition, and project execution
  • Experience working with utilities, regulatory agencies, consultants, and landowners
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to travel throughout the Northeastern United States
