Job description

The posted position is for a rotating swing shift. 

Candidates must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or move to a 5-day shift, if required.

Compensation

  • The pay rate is $39.50/hour
  • Saturdays are paid at time and one half
  • Sundays are paid at double-time

The successful candidate must have experience in the use of general machine shop equipment with proficiency in welding steel and cast iron, familiarity with the lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, and drill press, as well as all hand tools associated with a machine shop environment.

A successful millwright candidate will be primarily responsible for the fabrication, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical components needed to maintain an efficient, productive, and safe manufacturing environment. Duties include:

  • Rebuilding production equipment
  • Inventory of spare parts
  • Blue print reading
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Long term standing.

  • Four years prior manufacturing experience required.
  • Journeyman/Journeywoman card is a preferred qualification, but other qualifications may be considered.
  • A pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen along with a background check is also required
