Overview

This position is for a Monday-Friday 1st/2nd shift rotating position.

Compensation

  • The pay rate is $38.34/hour
  • This position does not require Saturday and Sunday work; however, if you have to work any Saturdays, they are paid at time and one half and Sundays are paid at double-time

Responsibilities

Successful electrician candidates will be primarily responsible for the construction and repair of electrical circuits needed to maintain an efficient, productive, and safe manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include performing a full range of electrical and electronics duties including, but not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting industrial AC & DC electronic drives
  • PLC's, and control systems; conduit installation
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects
  • Control panel construction
  • Electrical preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation devices and related signals (4-20ma &, 0-10vdc)
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Heavy lifting, pushing, pulling
  • Long term standing
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years experience as an electrician in an industrial setting
  • Travel between three facilities (all within 4 miles) as needed.
  • Journeyman's card or equivalent technical degree
  • Candidates must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and/or swing shifts as required Monday through Sunday.

A background check, pre-employment physical with a drug and alcohol screen is required.

Qualified candidates will have to pass an Electrician Test performed at Fox Valley Technical College.
