Job description

Fabrication Welding Associate | 1st & 3rd Shift | Bond Hill, OH

Our manufacturing team works on the fabrication of steel to be used in the construction of solar panel mounting systems. This is hard, manual labor in a non-climate controlled environment. We are looking for people with any amount of welding experience to move into our Weld Cell division. Please read description and answer the questions attached to the end of the application.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating machinery to form steel products
  • Squatting, bending, and lifting steel products on a repetitive basis.
  • Assembling products using hand tools and power tools such as impact wrenches.
  • Reading blueprints and other technical drawings to ensure that products are assembled correctly.
  • Entering product information into the ERP computer data entry system.
  • Measuring and quality checking finished product to ensure specifications have been met.
  • Performing maintenance tasks such as cleaning machinery or equipment to ensure continued operation of the factory.
  • Exchanging parts between machines or repairing machines when they break down.
  • Operating forklifts to move materials within warehouses or across docks to load or unload.
  • Following safety regulations and procedures to minimize the risk of injury to self and others.
  • Inspecting incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards before they are used in production.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of Manufacturing Experience (heavy machinery preferred)
  • Welding experience of any kind. (MIG/TIG/Spot welding)
  • 2+ years of Forklift experience (propane preferred)
  • Ability to utilize a measuring tape to the 1/32" mark.
  • Ability to read blueprint and technical drawings/instructions.
  • Able to squat, bend and lift up to 65 lbs. without assistance.
  • Able to stand for up to 10 hours per day and to walk for extended periods of time

Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (EXPECT DAILY OT)

3rd Shift: Monday-Friday 11pm-7:30am (Must train on first shift)

Pay:

First Shift: $20-23/hr, Third Shift: $2 differential
