Job Title: General Laborer

We're currently recruiting for 2 General Laborers to cut grass on an existing solar field. These individuals will meet at the main office in Wilson, NC each morning at 6:00 AM and ride in the company truck top various solar fields in the area. Candidates will be using lawn mowers and weed whackers to cut down the vegetation that has grown underneath and around the panels. At the end of the day they'll travel back to the main office and clean the equipment for the following day. The schedule is Monday through Friday 6:00AM-5:PM, so 50 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• These positions will be using weed whackers and lawn mowers to cut the grass growing around the solar panels
• Work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and other varying weather conditions for extended periods throughout the day.
• Walk continuously over rough and uneven terrain to access different areas of the solar farm.

• Essential Skills
• Qualified candidates must have 2+ years of experience working outdoors in construction, landscaping, farming, solar, etc.
• Candidates must have good attendance and be at the office at 6:00 AM every morning.
• Ability to walk continuously over rough terrain throughout the day.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• OSHA 10 highly desired but not required.

This is a Contract position based out of Wilson, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
