Position Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for safely operating equipment and performing manufacturing processes to produce high-quality solar panels in accordance with company standards. This position supports daily production goals while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate manufacturing equipment according to established work instructions.
  • Assemble solar panel components while meeting quality standards.
  • Perform visual inspections and identify product defects.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain production output and quality expectations.
  • Complete required production documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or quality concerns immediately.
  • Assist with line changeovers and startup activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-train in multiple production processes as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in a production environment is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
