      Position Summary:

      We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar Crew Lead to oversee and coordinate the installation of solar energy systems. As a Solar Crew Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a team of 2-4 individuals, ensuring safe work practices, maintaining quality standards, and meeting project deadlines. Your leadership skills and technical expertise will be essential in delivering successful solar installations and contributing to the growth of our renewable energy initiatives.

      Essential Duties:

      • Supervise and lead a crew of 2-4 installers daily
      • Maintain heightened awareness of safety risks and implement appropriate ORM procedures
      • Ensure quick and efficient installation of systems while providing excellent customer service
      • Ability to spend time with a customer explaining the work and system to be installed
      • Coordinate with fleet management as needed
      • Ensure that job sites are clean and presentable during and after installation
      • Motivate and support install crew and resolve concerns as needed

      Key Competencies:

      • 1+ years of experience with residential or commercial solar installation
      • Experience as a lead, as well as experience working with AC wiring preferred
      • Must be familiar with PV systems and varied install locations and troubleshooting
      • Must possess prior site construction experience and familiarity with construction site safety practices
      • Possession of a valid driver's license required
      • Ability to lift, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel
      • Must be comfortable working at heights in various weather and roof conditions
      • Compliant with OSHA standards

      Work is primarily conducted at our customers' homes in the local area, but occasional travel is required. Periodic weekend or evening work may also be required, depending on the workload.
