Job description

Are you a relationship-driven professional with a knack for solving complex problems and a passion for renewable energy? As a Client Relations Specialist, you will serve as the dedicated front-line ambassador and primary point of contact for our most valued, high-profile clients. In this dynamic role, you will bridge the gap between client needs and internal O&M operations, managing inquiries, leveraging state-of-the-art solar monitoring software, preparing proposals, and ensuring top-tier data integrity across our platforms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and with a focus on building long-term relationship with multiple high-profile clients.
  • Be first point of contact for multiple high-profile clients.
  • Assist and fill requests from clients whenever able. Route requests to the proper person within ESS when not able to fulfill requests personally.
  • Learn and master Drive O&M work order management software. Skill set involves accessing information from work orders, uploading and downloading reports, and generating reports. Drive O&M is built on a Salesforce platform.
  • Become proficient and able glean basic information from AlsoEnergy solar monitoring software.
  • Research and create proposals for clients.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts and other legal documents with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to examine and interpret client questions regarding invoicing and billing.
  • Review recently onboarded site information for familiarity and accuracy.
  • Ensure integrity of system data across FSM and file system.
  • Use FSM to run reports as requested by management.
  • Additional Responsibilities as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field highly preferred.
  • 2 year minimum experience in a publicly facing professional position that includes direct interaction with clients. Solar experience preferred.
  • Proficiency or knowledge of Salesforce is strongly preferred.
  • Assertive enough to give direction and humble enough to take direction.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to professionally interface with host customers, clients and landowners.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe and Outlook and proven ability to learn new software programs.
  • The ability to stay calm and pragmatic while interacting with clients even when they may be acting differently.

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, encompassing base pay and potential incentive target opportunity. This range is a good faith estimate based on the position's requirements. Specific compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary depending on factors such as relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, this position may qualify for a comprehensive benefits package, including Retirement Benefits, Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, Life Insurance and Disability, Tuition Reimbursement, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and more.
