Apprentice Electrician - Solar Construction

Location: Palisade, Colorado (Direct Placement)

Compensation: $27/hour + Per Diem (if eligible)

Schedule: Full-Time

Travel: Required for active solar project sites

About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join a high-performing solar construction team supporting large-scale, ground-mount solar installations. This is a hands-on field role ideal for someone looking to build their electrical career while gaining valuable experience in the renewable energy industry. You'll work alongside experienced electricians and site leadership to help construct critical clean energy infrastructure.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with the installation, termination, and testing of electrical equipment for utility-scale solar arrays
  • Support conduit installation, wire pulling, combiner box setup, and inverter terminations
  • Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, site plans, and specifications under supervision
  • Assist with troubleshooting electrical systems and supporting commissioning activities
  • Maintain compliance with NEC requirements, site safety protocols, and quality standards
  • Work closely with Journeyman Electricians, Foremen, and solar installation crews
  • Travel to active project sites as needed to support ongoing construction activities
  • Keep work areas organized and contribute to a safe, productive jobsite

  • Current Apprentice Electrician registration/license.
