Lead Service Electrician - Solar Operations & Maintenance
Are you a licensed journeyworker electrician with a passion for renewable energy?
Join Namaste Solar's Commercial Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Team to help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair solar PV systems across Colorado. You'll work on a variety of commercial and utility-scale systems, supporting over 460 active solar sites. As part of a collaborative and skilled team, you'll help ensure systems stay online and perform at their best.

Lead Electrician Core Responsibilities:
  • Perform licensed electrical service work on commercial and utility-scale solar PV installations across Colorado.
  • Manage and support your apprentice electrician crew mate.
  • Troubleshoot and repair solar PV systems efficiently and safely.
  • Provide feedback to O&M team members to help improve processes and team dynamics.
  • Educate apprentices and other team members on proper and safe execution of electrical service work.
  • Interface with customers via email and phone regarding scheduling and work-scope follow-up.
  • Installation and repair of Data Acquisition Systems (monitoring) for commercial projects.
  • Initiate and facilitate equipment warranty claims and vendor RMA processes.
  • Track and report on work orders in Salesforce and SiteCapture on cellular devices and computers.

Qualifications & Skills
Required:
  • Colorado State Journeyworker Electrician License.
  • Strong safety mindset (OSHA, NFPA 70E familiarity).
  • Ability to travel statewide and work in various outdoor conditions.
  • Comfortable working at heights and on pitched roofs.
  • Proficiency with laptops, cell phones, and work-tracking applications.
  • Effective, professional communication.

Preferred:
  • Experience in solar PV systems (troubleshooting, monitoring).
  • Mentorship or leadership experience with apprentices.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and SiteCapture.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and one-line diagrams

Work Schedule
  • Monday-Friday- 40 hours
  • Our work is outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Occasional overnight travel within the state of Colorado and an active driver's license.
  • This position will occasionally require "on-call" coverage on one weekend day.
