In this role, you'll help homeowners discover how renewable energy can reduce energy costs and increase home value. You'll guide customers through the entire solar journey, from the initial consultation to a signed agreement, by understanding their energy needs, presenting customized solutions, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll work company-generated leads and customer referrals, manage your sales pipeline, and consistently achieve ambitious sales goals.


This is a full-time, field-based position with local travel, ideal for someone who is competitive, organized, and passionate about helping homeowners make smart energy decisions.


Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships and close residential solar sales. 
  • Meet with homeowners to evaluate their energy needs and recommend customized solar solutions. 
  • Analyze energy usage and explain the financial and environmental benefits of going solar. 
  • Prepare customized proposals and pricing. 
  • Manage your sales pipeline using a CRM. 
  • Follow up consistently to move opportunities through the sales process.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of sales experience preferred. 
  • Experience in solar, home improvement, roofing, HVAC, construction, windows, or other in-home consultative sales is highly preferred. 
  • Experience using a CRM to manage leads and opportunities. 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
