Position Requirements
Requirements
  • 18+ years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state specific)
  • Must be team oriented
  • Familiar with basic hand and power tools commonly used in solar/electrical work
  • Must possess the basic electrician's hand tools

Description
The licensed Electrician will provide leadership and technical expertise for all electrical portions of the installation and work together with other members of the install team to complete the assigned project in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
Working Conditions
  • Indoor as well as outdoor year-round in varying weather conditions and temperatures
  • Must be willing and able to work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, roofs of varying pitches, trenches
  • Work hours will vary depending on project size and complexity

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Electricians will conduct themselves in a professional respectful manner at all times
  • Communicate with the Warehouse Tech to ensure all electrical supplies necessary for the day's install are accounted for and stocked in the truck.
  • Ensure electrical truck is maintained in a clean and organized fashion at all times
  • Report any and all vehicle deficiencies to the Fleet Manager in a timely manner
  • Communicate relevant information (power outages, job status, safety, etc) to the customer upon arrival and completion in a professional manner.
  • Observe all safety guidelines at all times
  • Attend Inspections as necessary
  • Perform service work and electrical upgrades as necessary
  • Complete all required documentation, including pictures and reports, and upload daily
  • Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
