Job description

Nautilus Solar Energy's Portfolio Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the management and operations of Nautilus' generating portfolio. Using web-based monitoring tools, the Portfolio Operations Analyst will ensure Nautilus' solar sites are performing optimally. This position reports to a Senior Portfolio Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Daily monitoring of Nautilus' solar power plant performance.
  • Manage and document plant alerts and cases for follow up.
  • Organize and process O&M expenses through Netsuite.
  • Schedule and manage deliverables of preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Work closely with Nautilus' Portfolio Operations Managers and O&M partners to continuously improve plant performance.
  • Support completion of compliance reports for management and financing partners.
  • Assist in new plant onboarding including document management, data entry and validation.
  • Support Special projects as needed.
  • Support RFP processes and analysis for 3rd party Operations and Maintenance (O&M) partnerships.
  • Support the development of tools, procedures, and business relationships to help decrease Nautilus maintenance costs over time.
  • Support compliance with applicable warranties.

Requirements
  • 2-year degree required, technical degree highly preferred
  • 1 year minimum of relevant solar management experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work hours 8am - 4pm EST and periodic on-call weekends for site monitoring
  • Ability to work effectively remotely with different levels and functions of the organization as well as with external parties such as banks, lawyers, customers and contractors
  • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to undertake complex tasks
  • Project oriented with a goal to complete assignments on time
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
