  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM, Overtime available
  • Pay: Pay: $35-$45/hour (based on experience) + performance-based bonuses
  • Location: Various sites in the Chicagoland area

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical systems for residential and commercial PV solar projects.
  • Safely bend and install rigid conduits up to 2" using hand tools, hydraulic benders, and power equipment.
  • Read and interpret single-line diagrams and construction sets to complete installations accurately.
  • Run DC/AC circuits, install battery backup systems, EV chargers, and perform residential service upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC codes, OSHA standards, and local regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, collaborating with inspectors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, materials, tools, and vehicle upkeep.
  • Adhere to Fresh Coast Solar's high standards for safety and workmanship.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Requirements
  • 3+ years of electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair experience (required).
  • Knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical codes (3+ years required).
  • Residential solar installation experience (preferred).
  • Previous experience supervising projects and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable working on rooftops, at heights, in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask.
