Job description

Job ID: 41730 | Location: Belen, New Mexico, USA | Work Model: Onsite
Join Clariant's team and help keep our operations safe, efficient, and running at their best. You'll operate loaders, lifts, and forklifts (once certified), support maintenance tasks, and perform equipment inspections. Working closely with the maintenance team, you'll handle repairs, adjustments, and cleaning duties using a variety of hand and power tools. You'll also maintain accurate records through paper and digital systems. After six months, you'll share your knowledge by helping train new team members, contributing to a collaborative and safety-focused workplace.
Responsibilities
  • Operate Front Loader, Stand Up, and Forklift (once certified within Clariant)
  • Can work well with others and do all cleaning duties in a timely manner
  • Ability to walk up five flights of stairs when needed for maintenance work or visual inspections
  • Work with our maintenance team to do work such as but not limited to changing belts, motors, butterfly valves, filter socks, greasing machinery biweekly, changing out bearings, mesh screen replacements, augers and paddles, clutch pads, replacing propane cylinders, etc.
  • Use of handheld tools such as drills, airlines, air hammer, hoist, impact tools, etc.
  • Abide by all Clariant rules and regulations
  • Ability to fill out all paper documents, Microsoft software's, digital worksheets/ spreadsheets, and send out emails/ pass downs

Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
One year preferred but no experience needed.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suit
Basic computer skills
Ability to drive a forklift/ stand up and loader
