Job description

The Solar and Electrical Field Supervisor leads medium-sized teams on solar power and electrical projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across new installations as well as maintenance and repairs. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role demands frequent travel to job sites with weekly onsite inspections to oversee project progress and address technical challenges. The supervisor plays a key role in coordinating teams, communicating with clients, and fostering professional growth through training.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise medium teams of 6-15 field installers and electricians
  • Coordinate project activities for new installations, maintenance, and repairs
  • Conduct weekly site inspections to ensure safety and quality standards
  • Oversee compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and guidance during field operations
  • Manage client communications and coordinate scheduling
  • Deliver training and development to enhance team performance
