Job description

Solar Appointment Setter (Commission-Only) – SolarVista Energy Ltd.

SolarVista Energy Ltd. is a fast-growing Calgary-based renewable energy company

specializing in residential and agricultural solar solutions across Alberta. We are expanding our

field team and seeking motivated, experienced, commission-only Solar Appointment Setters

who excel at generating qualified leads and booking appointments for our senior consultants. This

is an in-person, field-based role. It requires confidence, professionalism, and strong

communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with homeowners, farmers, and small businesses in assigned territories.

• Educate prospects on solar benefits, cost savings, and Alberta’s micro-generation

program.

• Qualify leads and schedule appointments for senior solar consultants.

• Maintain accurate records of interactions and appointments using CRM tools.

• Stay informed about solar products, incentives, and market trends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in solar sales, appointment setting, or field lead generation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Highly motivated, independent, and goal-driven.

• Comfortable with door-to-door and field-based customer interaction.

• Knowledge of Alberta’s solar market is an asset.

• Must be comfortable with commission-only compensation.

Compensation

This role is 100% commission-based with uncapped earning potential.

• Commission per booked & installed project: $500–$700

• Monthly earning potential: $6,000–$12,000+ for strong performers
